[19 May 2008] - PRELIMINARY SHIPPING INFORMATION
In order to encourage as many overseas competitors as possible to attend the 2009 SAP 505 Worlds, the St. Francis Yacht Club is pleased to offer access to ocean transportation at very favorable rates. World wide ocean container shipping line, our Presenting Sponsor, APL Ltd. will transport up to eight containers from ports in Australia, Europe or South Africa for example, to the San Francisco Bay Area. Up to ten boats can be transported in each 40 ft container. (Final port designations to be determined based on a first come, first serve basis, six boats minimum per container, and must be approved by APL.)

The St. Francis Yacht Club members are excited to welcome you to the City of San Francisco, the Bay and our Club.
We are honored to host the 2009 505 World Championship - and the StFYC Organizing Committee has been working for over six months to insure that this event will be one of the best ever.
